About Myrtle:

Myrtle is the new solo project of French composer Cathy Isot, who has spent the last two decades mastering the art of electronic music production. Best known for her role as an operatic soprano in gothic metal bands In Spite of Thunder and Spell of Enchantress, and as the creator of haunting acoustic piano ballads, Cathy now explores the bold, uncharted territory of hardcore electronic music under the moniker of Myrtle.

With “Glitter Rain,” Cathy breaks away from the classical and acoustic worlds she has long dominated, presenting a fierce, dark, and uncompromisingly energetic side of herself. The project embraces a high-octane blend of heavy bass lines, intense percussion, and synth-driven atmospheres that are at once chaotic and controlled—a nod to the darker side of EDM with a unique gothic twist.
